ISO cotton kids nightgown

I saw the pajama post and it reminded me to ask: does anyone know of wool, oekotex cotton, or linen nightgowns for little girls? Size 5 and 7. They dream of long, flowy white nightgowns—that Clara in the Nutcracker look—but the only ones sold in the U.S. are polyester and/or have flame retardants. Do any European brands sell nightgowns? I really don't want to have to sew my own. I'm a terrible seamstress.

@lpadr009 What about a cotton jersey/ knit “play” dress? I’ve seen some at H&M, primary, Hanna Anderson

Edit: Hanna Andersson appears to sell actual nightgowns as well (not sure if the colors are what you are looking for though)

@dbaileys I'm open to it. They really want that flowy trapeze style rather than one with a waistband, and those have been hard to find.

This might work if I sew a ribbon bow to the collar.

@lpadr009 This one is a cotton knit and is probably the closest match to a nutcracker nightgown:

This one from an Etsy artist says it’s cotton with lace: https://www.etsy.com/listing/220549540/

This one is silk:

This one is 100% cotton and is hand embroidered:

This one is 100% cotton voile: https://ifonlyif.co.uk/products/margot

It seems like you might be able to find something to meet your criteria, but it might be a bit on the expensive side.

@lpadr009 There are a bunch on Maisonette this one I linked says its “pajamas, nightgowns, and robes for kids are made with the finest quality cotton and blended with just enough inherently flame-retardant fiber to allow our sleepwear to pass strict CPSC regulations without the use of harmful chemicals.”
