@mollyg I think the OP has a bias, as everyone does. That's not lying. That's just how first person narratives work. You and I may consider it abusive, but if you consider what CPS sees daily, it's not going to rise to the level of disrupting the household.

You know what’s really fucked up, when J was trying to get full custody / Child support for R from her father, the father told the judge that N watches R and the judge didn’t even care.
@keblish It’s very counterintuitive but judges can’t make judgement calls on parenting CPS/the equivalent are the only ones who can investigate parenting. In court it just becomes he said she said. Dad should’ve opened up a cps case and then that can be brought into court for the judge to form an opinion on. It’s such a jacked up system.
