@miscellaneous Thank you so much! I feel like I know some of these, but it’s so hard to remember in the moment when I’ve used all my patience and just want her to chill and let me put her jammies on
@yesterday987g I totally get it! It’s extra hard when we are tired and at the end of the day. I often find myself trying to reason with my son and then when I get frustrated sometimes I remember these tricks and they always help. As far as pajamas, I just decided not to worry about them and often he sleeps in just a diaper. Of course we live in a warm climate so it might be different for you.
@yesterday987g We used to use cloth diapers so have a bunch of diaper covers with snaps on them. Now that he’s on disposables more we still put those covers on at night so he won’t pull the diaper off. So maybe a few like that in cute colors or patterns over the diaper will help with keeping her diaper on and also be fun to wear and she could choose the color, etc.
@yesterday987g Building a cooperative relationship may take time . Although these children want to be difficult, stay patient. I had the same issue with my second born. If she'our daughter is able, maybe try letting her fasten her own diaper and just adjusting it if needed afterwards. Is she ready to be potty trained/ ready for pull-ups? As far as giving difficulties with getting on clothes, possibly allow her to help with outfit decision making. Kids love when you include them!
