We are considering a floor bed around the 5/6 month mark and already own an avocado green mattress that we would like to use. I reached out to the company to ask what the firmness difference is between the infant mattress and the green mattress. Per the website, the green mattress is rated as a 7 in firmness and the infant mattress is rated as a 8. Our babies tend to be on the smaller side (I am under 5' ft tall so it's generic). In addition, I received the below response: "As per our information docket, On the infant side of the Organic crib mattress, we use 3" GOLS organic certified Coconut Pad which is rated D80- Firm (we use D65 on the very top of our standard green mattress whereas the Coconut Pad we use on the infant side would rate D80 in comparison - scale of 1-100 w/100 being the firmest) ."
Does anyone know if a firmness rating 7/D65 is firm enough for baby? Thanks!
