Activity table vs baby walker

To all parents,

Is activity table a good alternative for baby walker? My SO is not on the board with idea of baby walker as statistics are showing head and neck injuries association with them!

@graceb Both my kids liked our activity table a lot. We didn’t have a walker, though we did have a toddler grocery cart that I put a soft weighted exercise ball in (2 pounds, I think) so he could push it without it tipping over.

@graceb We have an activity table (hand-me-down) and it's been a total hit. Kiddo loves it, learned to stand much better thanks to it. We also have an activity center/jumper from skiphop. We put him in there when we have to get something done. He's safe, entertained and I know he won't fall/crawl away. It will also convert into a table, can buy chairs for it.

@graceb An activity table is a wonderful tool from a physical therapy perspective! You can pop off two legs on one side, so it lays tilted, and use that as a kneeling activity or even for tummy time before they’re pulling up.
