2-2-5-5 schedule with a 6 and 9 year old. Please share your wisdom about what I can expect down the road

@fellowheirs We've done week on week off since age 3 I think ? Recently switched to two weeks on two weeks off (age 10.5) which was hard on us but has settled in and is nice to have her for such long stretch (even though the stretch without feels super long too)
During the initial switch to two weeks, we would often have one day with the opposite house somewhere in the middle of the two weeks. Made the transition easier.

@fellowheirs You can expect your kids to actually embrace this schedule. They probably enjoy time with th ex. I suppose they do. It's a good alternative to the EOW. We just had HCBM renegotiate to this. Easy to follow; however, I suspect there will be backlash to this, as the kids aren't keen on their time with the HCBM. Ours starts next week.
