@lizhoney Personally I would prefer to have full days at home with the baby rather than just short days if I had the option. With nap schedules it can be difficult to get out if your day is cup up like that.
@nearu Yes naps can be so tricky! At this point he’s napping once a day so it simplifies things. As long as I can get him home without falling asleep in the car I should be okay though it is pushing his nap later than it’s been recently.
It’s true that then I can only do stuff with him after around 2 or 3 pm which is limiting. Most playgroups around where I live are in the morning so we’d miss out on those. But he’d have been around other kids all morning so
@lizhoney Yeah it also depends if you’d want to be able to do like longer day trips potentially (like drive to the zoo/beach/aquarium etc).
I work FT but have a little flexibility so occasionally I’ll take a random weekday off because I need to work a Saturday or something and it’s nice to be able to go on adventures
