@judithwiegand Yeah definitely still clean it properly this weekend with steal wool or a wire brush.

Just be careful letting the kiddos find out you’ve fixed anything. My daughter now thinks I can fix ANYTHING. She brings me broken crayons and torn puzzle pieces. “Don’t worry. Daddy will fix it.”

@judithwiegand Balled up tinfoil is great for cleaning rust spots on my knives or my exhaust pipes. I guess it’s like steel wool. Glad you fixed it!
