7.5 mo old used to be sleep trained and now isn’t

@iamthankful Thank you! This is really helpful. I know what you mean about the different cries - mine is the same way. I’m always concerned I’ll confuse her if I help her settle sometimes but not others, but I think if I’m only helping her when she has her distressed cry it should be ok.

7.5 mo old used to be sleep trained and now isn’t

@iamthankful You’re so right!! I’ve been trying to take a FIO approach but am kind of confused since it seems there aren’t really any hard and fast rules. I’ve been soothing her if she sounds like she’s really upset, but leaving her if she’s just complaining. Any tips for what worked for you or...

    False starts and cosleeping!!

@snowbunni My almost-17 month old still false starts most nights 🫠 She’s giving me more nights lately where she’ll sleep 1-2hrs before waking up, which is nice. LO decided it's time to sleep on his own and i'm not ready

@darkrose Awww I love this. I sleep with my 14mo old on a floor bed in her room, and there have been a few nights she’d still be asleep when I was ready to go to bed. I tried sleeping in my own bed again and tossed and turned for over an hour. I can’t sleep without HER now. Whatttt? 😂😂🫠🫠

What do you tell your pediatrician about sleep?

@fightingbull542 Yup, same. They ask what time she goes to bed and when she wakes up. That’s the extent of it.

How am I ever going to feel ok moving my firstborn to her own room?

@offenbarung I have a 14mo old who slept in a bassinet next to my bed the first 4 months, then moved to her room where I currently sleep with her on a floor bed. For a while, I co-slept out of necessity, but now she’s totally fine sleeping alone, but I can’t sleep when I’m not next to her...

    Anticipating the nauseous stage

@tangdalun I was one of the lucky ones who didn’t experience any nausea and was able to continue working out all first trimester. I did have to fight some fatigue, but working out really helped with that too so it was good motivation to exercise!
