So many questions about continuing with my workouts

@wearethelight2010 In my first pregnancy, I didn’t have much of a baby jump until after twenty weeks so physically I was able to to them until then or so. This pregnancy, my second, I dropped around 15 weeks as I was seeing ab separation.

So many questions about continuing with my workouts

@wearethelight2010 I totally get that- there’s a lot of mixed messages! And I think when people say that core work isn’t safe, they’re referring to things like sit ups/crunches. Things that I did to continue to do to work my core were med ball slams, goblet and barbell front squats, push ups...

So many questions about continuing with my workouts

@soniabhardwaj I didn’t modify much if anything in the first tri. I continued to CrossFit and run until the end but gradually added more modifications as needed. How do u deal with the nausea during outdoor running?

@unmaskedhearts I would try different times of day. For me, early early morning workouts felt good. Nausea didn’t set in until 7am ish so as long as I got my workout done before then, I was fine. Also, playing around with eating/not eating before or after a run could help. For a while during...

For those of you exercising 5+ times a week

@austins3991 I’m not pregnant now but worked out 5-7 times per week during pregnancy. I mostly did CrossFit and running. The things that helped me get out the door were the social aspect of it all. Even as I had to add more walking breaks to running, it was still nice to have a person to meet up...
