    Am I wrong?

@saved1970 My twins are 5 and this upcoming summer will be the first time we’re taking them on a long flight and a major trip. And I’m even a little nervous about that. While I did once take my older singleton to Europe from the US, by the time my twins rolled around, you couldn’t have paid me...

    Vaginal v CSection Birth

@ntlfr8 I spontaneously gave birth to A at home at 32 weeks. She was breech. Then I got to the hospital and had to have a C-section for B, who was also breech. It was a little annoying they wouldn’t let me try for another vaginal birth (it would have been my 3rd vaginal), especially at that...

    Working parent rant

@artg Sandwiches or big crudite platters on weeknights. No real cooking.

Has anyone been a SAHM during the day while husband is at work and then gone to work in the evenings? How did it work out for you?

@lesbian5eva I’d try to get a sitter for a few hours every day so you aren’t fried for work.

How did y’all potty train multiples?

@peace608 Oh just the regular stuff. No pants, M&Ms / stickers. My girls picked it up more quickly than my son.

How did y’all potty train multiples?

@peace608 I didn’t find it too different from potty training a singleton. Except we had two potties in the bathroom.

5 months pregnant, just found out 3 car seats will not fit in my CUV. Can’t afford a bigger car. Freaking out

@mwylcxca97 Have you tried the dimensions on a Diono car seat? Definitely pricey but cheaper than a new car.

    Why I'm quitting

@osvaldo From my perspective (Fortune 500 company), those benefits really suck.

How do you have time to do anything?

@babszie I don’t see much mention of your spouse in the description of dinner + chores. ETA - I like doing dinner at the park or beach this time of year. I’ll pack a picnic and we go straight there after work. Then just come home for bedtime. It’s great to be out with nature and really breaks...

Sometimes I feel like I am just bankrolling my husband’s identity crisis

@goldensleather My husband was laid off at the height of Covid. We waited a bit until it was possible to get childcare again (kids were 4, 1 and 1) and then arranged childcare 1 day a week. That was his job search day. The other 4 days a week were him being a SAHD. Yes, there ended up being...

    Join brand new UPK?

@ahead Yes. All my kids have started UPK as soon as it was available to them. There would need to be an extremely compelling reason for me not to do it. It was a huge cost savings and I never considered sticking with daycare once UPK was available, especially since there was an aftercare option.
