Help: WFH while pregnant w/ 2

@lishanaidoo That's why the tray is clutch. I didn't really have much on it besides my laptop and I kept my phone to the side of the tub. I would just run the hot water every so often. It was more warm than hot, like a pool.

@lishanaidoo I worked from my bathtub pretty much my entire third tri. Got a bamboo tray and put my laptop on that.

    Insurance question

@riviere Honestly, I would wait until after you deliver if you can. This sounds really complicated and I would worry about doing a long cross country drive at 28 weeks as well as being able to find reasonable insurance and care in time for delivery. Can some of your family come to you towards...

    Breastfeeding/bottle feeding twins?

@drterrapin The hospital should have the medela symphony available for you to use, which is a hospital grade pump and has (in my experience) much better suction then a home pump which was important for me early on when establishing supply. I would bring a hands free pumping bra. I would also...

    Breastfeeding/bottle feeding twins?

@drterrapin My boys were born at 36+4, one had a brief w 2 day nicu stay, and we ebfed until they were 26 months. The logistics of attempting to nurse early on were too hard so I ended up pumping at first. My husband would go down to the NICU with my pumped milk and do feeds every 3 hours and...

What was your twins weight when you started using the twin z pillow to BF? [The issues BF twins continue...]

@jeaninmt This is very normal for their age and sounds like cluster feeding. I’m surprised she didn’t mention that. What position are you using for feeding?

What was your twins weight when you started using the twin z pillow to BF? [The issues BF twins continue...]

@jeaninmt We’ve always used the twin z. My smallest boy was 4lb 12oz. Early on I had to use pillows to support. How often are the eating? What position are you trying to use for feeding? My experience has been that pediatricians often are not trained in breastfeeding so are not always giving...

How to prep for c-section ? Nervous!

@julianchu Make sure you have them show you how to use it correctly. My doctor only suggested wearing it for 48-72 hours so your own muscles can take over and begin healing.

Tips for cleanup after eating that isn’t a dog

@faye58 We got a mat for under their highchairs. After each meal I would just shake it off outside and when it got super dirty I would just throw it in the wash. I would also just hose off their high chairs after (ikea for the win). We also would just have them eat w/out clothes on. They didn't...

How to prep for c-section ? Nervous!

@julianchu They are great! Just made 6 months and we started solids last week. It goes by so fast even though it feels like it doesn’t in the first few weeks. They truly are a joy! Congratulations!!

How to prep for c-section ? Nervous!

@julianchu I used depends and stuck maternity pad over the part that sat on my incision. Those were really the only things the hospital didn’t give me I needed. Best advice I have is walk around as much as possible once you can. It was the thing that helped my recovery the most.
