    @kristinat We had a really rough time until about 5, but that's all I say to people. I don't say "oh, just wait," as if I'm setting a curse on them. I just try to empathize, because really, nothing about parenting is easy.

    @snickeringfox 1st trimester, "morning" sickness every day from noon until I went to bed. 2nd trimester was ok We were able to travel a bit, and little Italian nonnas love a pregnant lady, so that was delightful. But 3rd trimester meant insane heartburn, pelvic girdle pain, elevated BP, and ICP...

    @snickeringfox Same here. And as he grew I thought, I'll want a second one when I'm ready for a second. I figured if I wasn't ready by the time he was 3, then we were done. He's 7 now, and we're good.

    @sheyla_musicofgod Same. I always said I'd have 2 or 3, because I grew up with two brothers, so that was just normal. Then I had one and yeah, I'm good. Flip side, my best friend from childhood grew up as an only. He and his wife have 4, all within a couple years of each other. 🤷‍♀️
