Help me please, before I lose my ever loving mind. Read full post!

@amayasasaki Ah, it sounds like a classic case of 10 mins of mama/dad and then leave. My son tries everything to stall, but once we are firm that we are done and leaving, he rolls over and goes to sleep. You can start easy by moving farther and farther from her bed, so you are waiting on the...

Hi y’all, is anyone one and done due to health? I’m falling apart postpartum

@laurencesantos I have an advanced version of hEDS along with other health conditions, and because of that, I am fully one and done. I know I could not handle or be as good of a mom to two kids as I can be to my one son.

@amayasasaki Is she refusing to go to sleep, or is it a rebellion against the whole bedtime?

How do you guys handle night time wake ups with newborn?

@striveforclarity You gotta do shifts. For my husband and I, he would do any wakes up from 10pm to 3am, then I did any wake ups after 3am till around 8 or 9am when he had to be up for work. How much does your partner help with child rearing?

@grungey He does realize he can't have it both ways right? He either gets with the program and does what needs doing himself or you tell him what needs doing.

How much does your partner help with child rearing?

@beleadnotastray My husband struggled the first few months until I lost my shit and pointed out that if he was capable of working and maining a career on his own then he could follow the kids routine and be involved without handholding. That seemed to wake him up and he has been stellar since.

How much does your partner help with child rearing?

@beleadnotastray When my husband gets off work for the day, he helps with everything without being asked. He is fully aware of what routine I have our 2.5 yr old on and jumps right in. Cooking dinner, playing with him, bath time, etc. Whatever needs doing. I definitely bear a majority of the...

I wish my husband hated his job so he would like us more

@sophie0813 Sounds like it is time for him to learn to love his first job as much as he loves the second one. You can't keep burning yourself to shield him from getting angry or keep letting him get away with dumping all the childcare on you.
