How do you approach the stupidity that is Daylights Savings Time?

@robaya We actually had been planning 2 weeks in advanced and slowing changing the wake up/bed time. LOL Guess which day our 18m got sick for the first time? Our 1.5 hour mid day nap was taken ad hoc 30 min at a time at lunch then again at 6pm (because I assumed that would be bed time but nah).

Stuck with 3-4 naps cycling every few days

@trivalee I left her for 10-20min to fuss after waking up from a nap. I tried for a few times, but it hasn’t worked.

@trivalee I have tried increasing wake windows and extending naps, but still short naps.

Stuck with 3-4 naps cycling every few days

@bip Thanks for the tip! She gets tired pretty early before nap 1, but I’ll try to push for 2.5 hour. She’s not falling asleep independently yet, does it matter if I work first on independent 1st nap or bedtime?

Help me please, before I lose my ever loving mind. Read full post!

@amayasasaki Is she getting enough stimulation during the day? Is she maybe missing you/daddy during the day and wants to delay bedtime that way? Maybe try some rough and tumble play before bedtime, lots of cuddling, hugging etc. Is she just not tired? Maybe delay bedtime further? Last...

Stuck with 3-4 naps cycling every few days

@life1114 Oh she’s definitely not ready for 2 naps. My problem right now is her ww + naps + overnight sleep is about 23 hours😂 4-hour window is only for the last ww though.

Stuck with 3-4 naps cycling every few days

@cindyfernandez Thanks for your reply. I’ll try the 10-15 micronap. Baby actually wants to stay awake super long in the last ww and refuse to go down earlier. Last ww at 3 hour since 4.5 mo, and lately has been tolerating 4-hour.

Stuck with 3-4 naps cycling every few days

@bprice16 When I stretched ww longer, she was cranky and takes even shorter naps. But I only tried once or twice. I’ll stick to it longer this time.

Stuck with 3-4 naps cycling every few days

@knowledgeisnotignorant Thanks for the link. She’s able to settle back to sleep at night even though she can’t fall asleep independently at night. I’m planning to sleep train her soon for nights.

Stuck with 3-4 naps cycling every few days

We are stuck with 3-4 naps cycling every few days. She would have 3 naps for 2-3 days with bedtime inching earlier and earlier until it becomes too early, then we have to switch to 4 nap to reset the schedule (e.g. 5:15pm reset to 7:45pm). She just turned 6 months. Wake windows are usually 2...

    Best Carrier?

@redrobbie If it’s the upper back buckle thing that you find difficult, I feel that you’ll find Ergo difficult as well, although Ergo’s buckle is slightly better quality than HBC. The easiest putting on myself I find is Ergo Embrace when wearing cross cross because the shoulder straps are very...

    Best Carrier?

@xd005 I feel like what you describe does not exist. Cushy material will be bulky, and will not be breathable. If you equate cushy material to better fit and support, then there are lots more to choose from, but it depends on how it fits your body. HBC og is not bulky, material fairly thin...
