Nursing to Sleep Q: Are you Burping your Baby?

@singlestuggler It is hard! One of those decisions where you only learn you’ve made the wrong choice after it’s too late…

Sleep consultants can FUCK. RIGHT. OFF. (Part 2 - The follow up)

@cupoftea Yup you said it. A predatory industry preying on vulnerable, desperate, sleep deprived parents.

Nursing to Sleep Q: Are you Burping your Baby?

@miullawd Nice to hear this, I would say I’ve been doing the same these days. Trying to go off her cues. However I find that I’m afraid to miss some sneaky gas…not sure why? Some PRSD /”post-reflux stress disorder” perhaps?? Lol

7 month old won’t sleep alone

@lucaswey Same here with a low sleep needs baby! OP, this is exactly what my baby was doing too when she was getting too much daytime sleep. Now, her first WW is around 2-2.5 hours, the next two are 3-4 hours typically, down to 2 naps/day (unless she nods off in the car or something.) We...

Nursing to Sleep Q: Are you Burping your Baby?

@stephenso Thank you for your comment! Interesting about the other cultures…always enjoy learning different ways. I’ve gone back & forth between more upright positions (for reflux/burping) and laid back (to help control my let down too.) However, those days seem to be behind us now…fingers...

Nursing to Sleep Q: Are you Burping your Baby?

@partylinelimo Good to know! Thanks! I think subconsciously I avoided side lying, in the early days at least, just in case the horizontal position triggered her reflux. But I really need to remember to use this position now! It’s perfect for two sleepy girls 🥰

Nursing to Sleep Q: Are you Burping your Baby?

FTM, baby is almost 4 months. She’s outgrowing the reflux period, so I’m able to lay her down sooner after feeds (Yayyy to sleeping more) Wondering if other breastfeeding mamas are burping their LO after sleep feeds? I can usually get away with a quick over-the-shoulder burping session, as long...

Best Play Yard/Pack n Play Mattress (in Canada🇨🇦)?

Looking for your tried & true recommendations on a good mattress for a play yard/pack n play!? (I know this sub will have the best advice!!) This would be for overnight sleep, so I’d like it to be more quiet if possible. Prefer to pay under $50 CAD for it. Found this one on Babies R Us, but...

Question about herpes and its contagion.

@msavage My mom wears a mask around my daughter when she thinks she’s getting a cold sore. She is so so careful, constantly washing hands too. After the first few days she stops masking but continues to practice good hygiene and avoids kissing just in case. I want to add we are a highly...
