@angelaintraining44 That's good to know! I did boyscouts as a kid and have lots of good memories. But as a girl dad I was wondering if there were options like that for my daughters. I know there's girl scouts but my niece is in it and I don't think they've done much camping or outdoor stuff.

@kelseydana Camping is cheap AFTER you have all the gear lol. I was pretty into backpacking before kids (hoping they will get into it once old enough) and while a trip may only cost gas to get to the trailhead and a few days of food. But your carrying $1k+ of gear on your back

@notfooled Or we used to be able to sleep till noon after a night of drinking but now we have screaming children to tend to at 6am. My first hangover with a grumpy baby at the ass crack of dawn was all I needed to cut way back on alcohol. I mean still drink, but it's like 1 beer or glass...

@jacques8989 FTFY I saw a quote that was something like: "If you don't laugh at farts, your life will have fewer laughs and the same amount of farts." And I think those are words to live by.
