Should I even get a breast pump?

@nicolecham Pumping can be helpful for triggering labor, helping your uterus contract post-birth, and increasing supply if you choose to breastfeed. You might have low supply and be able to switch to formula easily, but you could also have an oversupply and need to pump to avoid mastitis. I...

She doesn’t fit newborn or 0-3 anymore

@psyman I was mostly just surprised with the clothes but am now freaked out that she’s outgrowing her bassinet. She’s only 9 weeks but was teeny tiny when she was born at 41 weeks. She didn’t fit into her newborn size clothes! Now I seems like she skipped right over size 1 diapers and has 0-3...

Organic cotton clothes for chunky babies?

@dol1lbabyzs Kate Quinn has organic cotton pieces. I size up because they have no stretch, but once I do they fit our long torso short leg chubby baby really well. Hanna Anderson zip onesies work well for our baby too, though the ankle cuffs get tight before the rest of the outfit.

    Slowing Down

@oranges First trimester was really hard for me. With the nausea and exhaustion I was only able to do yoga and short walks from 6-14 weeks.

What do your babies wear to sleep

@angelgirl4890 Our baby prefers to sleep in a cold room, like 66-68. If it’s on the lower end we do footies and a sleep sack. Perfect temp we do a bodysuit and sleep sack. If it’s warm we do a diaper and sleep sack only. We like the Woolino sleep sack, but I’m going to look into a lighter one...

    Need affirmation

@saxonity I was unable to breastfeed due to low supply, and it was devastating to me because I’m a pretty healthy granola hippie type and just assumed I would be able to. But the more I read about formula feeding compared to breast milk, the less worried I am. It seems most of the benefits are...

When were you able to go back to your pre-pregnancy strength again after a c-section?

@hennaz222 I had a vaginal birth but am going to jump in and say that I lost a ton of core and hip strength just from pregnancy and needed to do physical therapy after I was cleared to exercise for about 8 weeks before I was physically able to get back to exercising safely. I started taking...

We can’t bed share because my baby is formula fed? Explain

@chenml60 It’s more about the sleeping in the c shape cuddle to protect baby. I can’t breastfeed due to hypoplasia, but she still recognizes the breast and instinctually rests on it. She does the same with my husband when they cuddle (though without the boob, he does the c shape too). She now...

Mountain biking + jumps/drops in early pregnancy

@1way7 My obgyn said not to do activities where I could fall. I do pole dance, so for me that meant no trying new tricks on the middle or top of the pole and making sure I had a spotter. Skiing is not recommended for the same reason—high risk of falling. I’d skip this workshop. You’re most...

Did my shoe size really just go up :'(

@afolkytouch My feet jumped up a half size around 30 weeks. It’s very likely it could be swelling + relaxin makes your feet flatter so they end up needing more room. Some people’s feet shrink back after birth, others’ don’t.
