@pentie2003 I always feel bad about one time I told a friend that picking up her then six month old was so surprisingly easy because he was so light. She was visibly upset even though in my mind I was just comparing him to my giant toddler not to other six month olds.
@lizmoshes Only wake to eat if it helps you get a longer block of sleep! I always did a dream feed just before I headed to be so I could take advantage of the baby’s being full and sleeping longer.

@seemypdf My husband’s family is just LOUD. I had to develop a signal to my husband early in our relationship to lower the volume of his voice because it was too much for me. They aren’t yelling, they just have a totally different base volume level than I grew up with.
@maryloeffler On the other hand my mom watches my 10-month old daughter two days a week and I constantly have to remind her to put her in the crib for naps. She sleeps better in the crib and she needs the practice for the days she’s at daycare.
@lazhar Apparently part of it is because they are designed as deck shoes and are too anti slip for running or walking in normal floors. The shoes stay put when the kid doesn’t. They are good for the time around potty training if your kid has lots of accidents that pool in their shoes.
