@sh419ob As a former finger sucker, I've introduced a pacifier to my daughter bc I feel it'll be easier to break that habit. Finger or thumb sucking is hard to break in my experience.

@riseup It breaks my heart every time I hear about it even in the US where I feel a lot of parents ST because they have to; there is no other option. Makes me so grateful I can bring my daughter to work and she doesn't need to ST

@banlawya Almost a year and the sleep is just getting better than every 2-3 hours lol I think maybe we get 4 hours between now? Depends on the night and the time of night 🥴

@deavallsbabe My parents apparently did this and it's one of the main reasons I will never let my own daughter CIO - it just breaks my heart when she cries. Crying is communication

@yvettepch1 Am nanny and never have I ever had that kind of authorization. It seems a wild overstep imo especially to be the one asking for it rather than the parent providing it (which I could understand)

@rocknroll15 We recently put a mattress on the floor in her room and have been nursing her to sleep then sneaking away. I've been enjoying sleeping on my back and stomach rather than my side lol. But I definitely get caught and still cosleep with her a bit...
