    breastfeeding 2 day old

@quangqui007 I nursed her first, every time she seemed hungry or fussy, then offered a couple ounces of formula if she didn't seem satisfied. Did that until my milk came in on day 3. Milk took 5 days to come in with my first baby.

My baby is obsessed with watching me eat

@antnf8900 This is a good sign! She's showing interest in food that doesn't come from a boob. Mine started staring doing this when he was 3 months old. Ped gave us the green light to start solids at 4 months and my child was thrilled with this new exciting adventure. He's 8 months now and still...

My baby is obsessed with watching me eat

@winterymixx We keep an empty water bottle (or one with just a bit of water left in it) around for this reason! Also because it's crunchy and the sound fascinates him. And we keep one in the car because he hates the car, but loves his crunchy water bottle.

My baby is obsessed with watching me eat

@mysteryarrow My 8mo stares into my soul through my food and literally growls. He just discovered he can make this sound so he applies it to everything.

Baby needs to gain weight but won't eat

@jahncrish You're welcome! My suggestion for right now is to stop giving him solids for a couple of days and only give him formula. This will help his appetite increase so he takes in the amount he needs. It will sort of reset his eating habits. He may drink small amounts more often for a day...

Baby needs to gain weight but won't eat

@jahncrish I see a lot of people on here saying formula before solids, and this is absolutely true and necessary. For children under 1 year old, solids are complementary, meaning the main purpose of them is to just introduce the baby to the idea of food, flavours and textures. My baby will be...

What time does your toddler who still naps go to sleep?

@geranium Homie turns 3 tomorrow(!!!!). Wakes up at 6, nap 12:30ish-2:30 (really more like 1-2:30), bed at 8:30, usually falls asleep around 9. I've been trying to move him to an 8pm bedtime but it's not happening. We tried no nap the other day when we sent him to Nana's, and he passed out on...

Plan B and delayed period? Your experience?

@godswill414 Thank you! My toddler is v excited haha I hope it works out for you! I wouldn't worry until your period is over a week late. They say that under normal circumstances as well. A negative test is a good sign though!

Plan B and delayed period? Your experience?

@godswill414 I was 16 when I took it but I remember it very clearly. I had back pain (the type you get with a wicked period), cramping, nausea, and my period was nine days late. Had those symptoms (+ terror) the whole time. The rest of my tale, for anyone who is interested: A broken condom was...

Struggling with my 8m old on enough formula

@theomatician888 Don't stress!!! Mine did this too at the same age! I feel like it's pretty common around the 8-9 month range, but it's usually a phase and will pass. My LO lost a little bit of weight, like less than one pound, but pediatrician wasn't concerned. Told me to keep weighing him...

    F**k canine teeth!

@msa111 Oh man. My dude finally just sprouted his final canine tooth 2 weeks ago. Every single other tooth has been okay, even when he got 3 first molars all at once and the fourth a few days later. A little grouchy but nothing too wild. But these canines. Holy shit. His sleep, blissfully...

Could someone decide for me 🙃

@clare5890 You aren't damaging your child by not giving her a sibling. I have friends with no siblings and they're just as happy as people with siblings because they've never known any different. Your reasons are all valid reasons and it sounds like your partner is on board. My husband and I...
