    What is going on

@yommie I’m so so sorry for your loss. The limbo is awful, and then the pain afterwards is just heartbreaking. I wish there was something I could say to make it better. I hope you are taking gentle care of yourself and giving yourself the space to grieve. ❤️

no rise in hCG-OB just told me I’m definitely miscarrying

@gnosis1234 It’s so tough to say - I think with hcg not rising I’d personally assume it’s a miscarriage and it’s probably ok. The day my 2nd miscarriage was confirmed with bleeding, a drop in hCG, and no fetal pole on an ultrasound (at 8 weeks) I had a glass of wine that same night. That said, I...

no rise in hCG-OB just told me I’m definitely miscarrying

@gnosis1234 I’m glad it helped ❤️ wish you the very best, I hope that it’s not ectopic and that you’re able to get through this very tough chapter with the least amount of difficulty

no rise in hCG-OB just told me I’m definitely miscarrying

@gnosis1234 By 6w3d when I went in they were able to hear the heartbeat - my RE said that at 6w exactly we may not, but did expect a heartbeat at 6w3d. If you’re around that point it should be enough time. I will say in your case I think the scan is mostly for peace of mind and to make sure...

no rise in hCG-OB just told me I’m definitely miscarrying

@gnosis1234 I’m so so sorry you’re going through this. ❤️ If it would give you peace of mind I think it’s worth asking for another hCG test. If you have concerns around a potential ectopic pregnancy it may also be worth asking for an ultrasound prior to making a final decision on termination to...

    3 weeks 1 day

@jessi1194 My beta at exactly 10 DPO was 44 and my RE thought that was a great number! I’m currently 18w2d with my last check-up at 17w3d. I don’t think that’s a low number at all for 10DPO!

Beta went up 77%. Anyone with previously successful pregnancy w/o doubling at the beginning?

@lamikin I can’t call it a successful pregnancy yet because I’m only 10.5 weeks in so things could still go wrong, but these were my first three betas: 10 DPO: 44 12 DPO: 149.8 (27.16 hrs doubling time) 14 DPO: 266 (57.94 hrs doubling time) When I got the drop from 27hrs to 58hrs doubling...

Really having a hard time 4w2d

Mind you, I say all this and I can’t go 3 weeks without going to get a scan to make sure things are still going ok, so we all have our vices! 😅🤣

Really having a hard time 4w2d

@tgrills I’m so glad you stopped testing! Keep it up, you got this!!! My next piece of unsolicited advice is to also put the FRER tests away too 😅❤️ trust me, the fewer tests the less anxiety!

Really having a hard time 4w2d

@tgrills I used inito as well and I can TOTALLY understand how tempting it can be to test in early pregnancy and use the LH details as a proxy for hcg. My only reminder would be that although the LH strip can mistakenly pick up hcg it obviously isn’t perfect! Also, how diluted your urine is can...

Coworker refuses to use sick leave, even though I’m 5 weeks pregnant

@txstrocker Just wanted to second this - I have a Fragile X premutation and my dad’s family (comes from his side) has a history of primary ovarian insufficiency and early menopause. So as merp said above, it isn’t necessarily genetic but there are genetic conditions that can result in a family...

Hcg levels didn’t double, not even close - measuring 5 weeks at 6 weeks U/S

@domenka I would guard your heart at this point. ❤️ By 6w (assuming you have your dates right) you should see a gestational sac and yolk sac. The hcg slowing down this much is also concerning. I’m so sorry I don’t have a more optimistic point of view to share. I wish you the very best no matter...
