Does anyone else have their newborn live in onesies 24/7?

@healihealiheal Nightgowns for us. You just...slip em right on! Super easy for diaper changes too. Now as a new parent, I had no idea that babies scratched up their little faces 😐 so I didn't know onesies with mitts were a thing. Got him some mitts down the road when he started doing that or...

Anyone else feel like it's a struggle to get baby out and about?

@bjwilson1971 These are fantastic ideas, thank you!

Anyone else feel like it's a struggle to get baby out and about?

@allproblemsdie Thank you, your comment means a lot to me 😊 And yeah, that makes sense. I guess once baby gets sick for the first time, it would be easier to deal with afterwards. I mean, he will eventually despite my best efforts and I know that. Suppose I shouldn't let it get the best of me...

Anyone else feel like it's a struggle to get baby out and about?

@chpjoe I didn't know there was a vaccine for the Littles! 😱 Like, he's gotten all of his vaccines and I got both doses of the Covid-vaccine while I was pregnant 🤰 I guess I just get extra worried about these things sometimes.

Anyone else feel like it's a struggle to get baby out and about?

@gisellemartinez1 100% how I feel. We take him out to things, even the beach this past summer! But it's that fine line of what's going to be safe vs. How crowded an event may be which could put LO at a greater risk for covid. Definitely trying to find ways to live with it, as you've said :)...

Anyone else feel like it's a struggle to get baby out and about?

@llewyllen My local hospital has been under immense strain. The ER is closed basically all the time. When I gave birth I had to be transferred to another hospital 3 hours from home because there was no one for pain management should I have needed either an epidural (which I did) or c-section...

Anyone else feel like it's a struggle to get baby out and about?

@kristih Yeah, I live in Northern Canada and we haven't been able to find any at all 😔 we always ask whatever pharmacy we're near when we're out and about. They have to keep it behind the counters now to prevent people from stealing. LO has been an absolute trooper teething wise but should he...

Anyone else feel like it's a struggle to get baby out and about?

@nicky_uk That sounds so rough, I'm so sorry for what you're having to go through 🫂 PPD/PPA is no joke. It sounds lame but it gets better with time and I'm so happy that you have access to a therapist. Me and another friend who have babies close in age, about 2 months difference, feel like...

    New parent tip from pediatrician

@rhianne Yup! The first 2 months I was not concerned with our adult ideas of a "schedule". Babies don't have that idea and won't conform to it for a very long time lol. Go with the flow, more so, go with babies flow!

Anyone else feel like it's a struggle to get baby out and about?

I mean more so in a social aspect. The virus that shall not be named (why can't we talk about it here??) is unfortunately still alive and thriving and I find I'm trying to balance this invisible line of "Do I take baby out to see the world? Or play it safe and keep him within these four walls...

Felt like a fool for going to A&E with reduced fetal movement

@salif Midwife is trash, wtf. Everything you read, hear and learn, if you feel less movement or if you're concerned at any point, go in! Find a new midwife if you can. Not someone i would want around me during the birth of my child.

So I’ve been trying to keep a set wake up time is 7-8 am too big of a range?

@onguard I kept timing more loose because babes naturally fell into a bit of his own schedule anyway. I think 7 - 8am is perfect. Gives you some time to sleep in or make some coffee 😉☕️ For example (mind you, my babe is 10 months now) Wake up is 6:00 - 6:30am First nap follows pretty closely...

    So g-d thirsty

@markstrimaran Heck, I drink water throughout the whole night too! You need even more water too if you're active, like going for walks, tending to chores and such. My OB recommended drinking about 2.5 liters of water per day.
