Pediatrician said baby sleep is abnormal

@nserchoftruth If it helps you to feel better, my mum said she coslept with both my brother and I for years, for the same reasons. She worked full time, and we spent weekends with our dad. Sleeping with us was how she got to spend the most time with us. We’ve both turned out totally normal 😂...

i’m worried that my eating disorder will come back post partum and I’m really scared

@aiambutasmallvoice Something I was told early on, was to think of my body as being rented out from the time of conception until at least a year post partum. From the shoulders down, your body is no longer your’s and your baby’s. This somehow was a kind of comfort for me.

How long of sleep stretches are you actually getting?

@snowbunni Our LO is 4 months, and in the thick of her regression. She wakes up hourly if she’s in her co sleeper, but if she’s in bed with me (which typically happens a few hours after her bedtime, when my husband and I come to bed), if she’s fed she can go 6 hours. She doesn’t nurse to sleep...

4 month regression? Almost 17 weeks and now refuses bassinet. Unsafe sleep situation last night.

@sweetkf We already had a fairly firm mattress and a king with a custom co sleeper that opens onto our bed on my side of the bed. We never planned on bed sharing, but when we ended up doing so, we already have a decent set up. I keep our baby on my side of the bed, near the co sleeper so she has...

4 month regression? Almost 17 weeks and now refuses bassinet. Unsafe sleep situation last night.

@sweetkf I bed share with our daughter following SS7, and will likely continue to until she is at least 6 months to help us all out with any regression she goes through. I am prepared for sleeping training to be a longer and more challenging process since she is used to mostly being in the bed...

What are we doing about naps?

@sam1930 Our’s is now 3.5 months, and she contact napped in the carrier or napped with us in the bed up until about 3 weeks ago. Since both my husband and I have time off (Canadians), we still contact nap her most of the time, but we can put her down to sleep in her own co sleeper bed around...

    C curl

@areli You could try having her sleep on her back? But I’m sure you’ve already tried that, some babies don’t like it. Our LO prefers her side, but I’ll roll her onto her back and rest my hand under her bumb and legs to keep her there. She also seems to love being held like that as she falls asleep.

    is it 4 months regression?

@gidmos44 This has been happening with us too, LO is 3 months. It started a couple of weeks ago, prior to this could sleep the whole night, sleeping through all of her night feedings. I’m up often feeding her anyway because she’s in the 6th percentile and needs the extra night calories...
