    Fake fevers?

    @mamabdog Our daycare teachers called. us several times to report a fever of 104 only for us to get home and there was no fever. Once we gifted them a new thermometer, copying the director, the fake fevers stopped.

    7 y/o fever keeps coming back... what to do?

    @joey97 That is pretty much how it was for us - around 4 or 5 days of fairly low fever, then it went away for a day then back higher for a day or two and then a few more days of lowish fever. All we know is it wasn’t COVID, flu, or strep.

    @swan 4 day fever isn’t that unusual. We had 10 days recently. We went to the doctor twice. They said it was just a virus.

    I didn’t negotiate when I should have. Is 8 months too early to ask for a raise?

    @omandi111 If you have a scheduled compensation review that is an appropriate time to ask for a raise. You may or may not get it, but no one is going to be offended if you ask for more compensation at a compensation review. I wouldn’t ask for a raise at 8 months if there weren’t a compensation...

    “It’s like you don’t want to cook anymore” MAYBE I DON’T!

    @guinhamoura13 My husband is the cook and grocery shopper in our house. But I do the meal planning 4/5 days of the week and pull the recipes for him. Not sure if assigning that job to your husband would help.
