    Slowing Down

    @oranges Agree with everyone saying the first trimester is full of exhaustion. Do what you can do but moderate your expectations and listen to your body. It's that simple!

    @oklahomaevangelist Even when doing upper body exercises your core is doing a lot of stabilization. I wouldn't risk it until doctor signs off.

    @vanillasunflowers I figured I'll need stronger legs when I'm heavier / later in pregnancy plus the upper body stuff when I'm carrying these 2 babies around post partum. Plus in general it's just good to build muscle before we get old!

    @vanillasunflowers I take dumbbell classes at my gym. But I was doing that before I got pregnant also. I don't see why you couldn't start with light weights now!
