Baby is 1 and a half and I haven’t had a period yet. Anyone else? Does it have to do with nutrition?

@olivemcr Yeah. She asked if I had gotten it yet. I said no, and then she said I could get it at any time and to not use nursing as birth control.

Baby is 1 and a half and I haven’t had a period yet. Anyone else? Does it have to do with nutrition?

@olivemcr Not as long PP for me, just 15 weeks, but still nothing. When I had my 6 week PP visit with the gynecologist she made it seem that I would get it back any day now.

Will my breasts really shrink after breastfeeding?

@con4christ88 If you’re lucky you’ll have one large shrink significantly while the other is the biggest it’s ever been. Currently my problem lol

    do you tell your pediatrician?

@tjschaffer I told my son’s pediatrician at his last visit (2 months) and she said she was totally fine with it. She even said “there’s safe ways to do it so it’s not a big deal” She’s a mother herself and has 3 kids so I think she gets it. She’s cool, we really like her.

I did it. I told my ped.

@j010203t I told my sons ped at the 2 month checkup, and she was all for it! She has three kids so I think she gets it. She was very supportive of our decision.

My child is allowed to need me at night

@deeerek07 My son has only had this happen when he’s laying in bed with me, but he’s asleep and I’m still up watching tv or doing whatever on my phone. He has his 4 month visit with his dr next week so I’m curious what she will say/recommend. I was able to record one of the times. When he’s...

My child is allowed to need me at night

@deeerek07 May I ask how old is your son? My son has had a few “night terrors” it’s what google describes anyway, but he’s only 17 weeks old. Google says it’s not common amongst kids this young but I swear to god that’s what these are. He’s a very happy baby, never cried. The only times he cries...

Disappointed that I couldn’t handle the pain of giving birth unmedicated

@voice_itw Dude…. You don’t get a medal for giving birth unmedicated… seriously who cares if you took the epidural or not. Not a big deal.

    Away from my baby

@christlivesinme29 The hospital I had my son at is a super religious one so I’m sure they’d make me bring my baby in. They’re really strict on wanting breastfeeding. Nice to know that’s an option in case I ever end up in the hospital. I wouldn’t know who would watch my son!

    Away from my baby

@christlivesinme29 Awww that’s nice. I would refuse to stay at the hospital if they didn’t let me have my baby there lol

A FTM birth plan thrown to the wind

@brooksie2013 They gave me an extra dose an hour before my son was born! lol I was starting to feel pain, as it had been about 7 hours since they gave the inital epidural to me, so they gave me more medicine in it. I was almost TOO numb lol I didn’t like it. But I did enjoy not feeling the two...

Husband wants to stop cosleeping and let baby CIO

@andrew090565 When I asked how that is so she said “because they start to realize that when they cry, mom or dad comes to pick them up” lol

Husband wants to stop cosleeping and let baby CIO

@joysky93 It sucks because we really like her. She doesn’t push certain things on us and she is really nice. She has kids so she understands cosleeping and is supportive of it. So to hear that yesterday was kinda a bummer.

Husband wants to stop cosleeping and let baby CIO

@ufekevom We recently went to my sons 4 month checkup and the pediatrician (who doesn’t mind we cosleep) said that babies at this age start being manipulative and we should try CIO/sleep training with our son, who still wakes every 2-3 hours. Annnnd of course my husband is all for it and I’m not...

I was not expecting taking care of a newborn to be so hard

@atlanta 17 weeks in and it feels like time has passed so fast. My son had bad gas pains from week 2-6 and I wasn’t getting much sleep. Around week 8 I started cosleeping with him and it made all the difference. My son doesn’t cry much. Like at all so I’m very grateful for that. He’s a super...
