    Co Sleeping w/o Judgment?

@greykell Our babies are the same age :) I had this issue my first time around and I wish we'd known about the safe sleep seven earlier on. We were so tired and kept winding up falling asleep in some pretty precarious positions. With this baby, I didn't even bother with the bedside bassinet...

What’s the dumbest thing anyone ever said to you as a twin parent?

@katrina2017 When people ask my dad if his twin grandsons are identical, he loves to happily say "no but they're very similar". It's nonsense, but people nod like it does make sense.

    Am I wrong?

@saved1970 Send your husband and mom with the twins. Grab a glass of wine and hop in the bathtub and turn off your phone. Solved.

I thought twins where bad but triplets are worse

@hoodlesshunter Having one sitting there crying while the other two eat definitely sucks. Maybe nurse two at once, and the third gets a bottle (whether it's pumped milk, donated milk, or formula). Then rotate each time so they each get a turn having the bottle. As for people coming over to...

What’s the dumbest thing anyone ever said to you as a twin parent?

@canrj9 When people see dad with kids: omgeeeee how wonderful! What a good dad!!! When people see mom with kids: ugh how DARE she have the AUDACITY to have children and then bring them out for the public to deal with!!

SAHPs, what do you do when random people are causing a problem for you?

@ajewelinhiscrown My go-to is to tell back "go fuck yourself", and maybe add a pointed insult at the end. Like, "go fuck yourself, fucking hag" or whatever.

What are your plans for Mother’s Day?

@barry61 My older two will hopefully be at my parents' house for the weekend, and hopefully I can get a haircut or something while my husband stays with the baby. I'm also insisting on a home improvement to happen in our kitchen. Our house came with a wine fridge built into the island, in a spot...

@smf97 Monozygotic boy-girl twins has like one documented case ever and people still talk about it like it's a regular occurrence

Felt like a fool for going to A&E with reduced fetal movement

@salif My midwife team was always in the camp of "if you have any concerns, call us or come in. That's what we're here for and we want to make sure you and your twins are healthy!" So I'd say you absolutely did the right thing. Especially with twins (like I said, been there myself too). Her...

    Kindergarten Red-Shirting

@jadaley07 My twins get speech therapy through the school. They're 3.5 years old and go to a public half day preschool that provides the speech therapy. You don't have to wait!

    1 crib vs 2

@katrina2017 I wonder if they're following the advice of James McKenna, since that's what he advises too.

    1 crib vs 2

@katrina2017 I'm so grateful for the midwives I've had here in the States because they've been more like what you described, but clearly bound by their workplace's policies. So they'd indicate support when they approved of something I did that was against hospital policy. I appreciated it...

My husband and I just got a call after my 14 m.o. daughters’ first week at a new daycare…

@tendercarelawnservice I wasn't even making $1k/week when I was working. We couldn't afford for me to go back to work. Which is such a bizarre concept.

Failed GD test, BP has been concerning, too. Feeling scared and sad

@readingdad My BP was constantly borderline throughout my didi pregnancy. I got sent to L&D triage so many times for it, just for it to come down enough for them to send me home. The day of my induction right at 38 weeks, I got to the hospital and insisted on being wheeled up to L&D. They were...

How did y’all potty train multiples?

@peace608 Well so far I send one of them to pre-school in underwear, and he does great there, then comes home, refuses to pee on the potty, then shits on the floor and throws up at the sight of it. 🙃 I can't even entertain the thought of potty training the other one yet.

    Celebration! 🎉

@deltoots This was such a lovely read ☺️ Cheers to a solid 5 hours of independence! And just to be a positive voice for you following your instincts... Honestly parenting got so much more enjoyable for me when I tuned out the noise of stuff I was supposed to be doing. It's still hard, but I...

Newborn Size Clothes are a Scam and Other Thoughts

@rusyngirl Yeah, my family keeps actually scolding me for buying NB clothes because "my babies never wore them!" The smallest baby born in my family was still over 8lbs. But here's the thing. I have twins on the way. It makes the freaking news when twins are born over 8lbs! Mine will be born...
