    Baby on a budget?

@gaiealiyly We were on a budget and had unplanned twins. They’re 6 months old now and there are so many things I didn’t need. The BEST purchases so far were $15ish fisher price bouncer chairs. They live in those. IKEA high chairs- I like them better than the $150 one we were handed down...

Prepare me for the family battle...!

@becker0109 Question on the bambino mio I’ve been wanting to post. I loved mine, but the inserts just don’t do well anymore. They lasted maybe 2 months before it was leak city. Did you just convert them into pockets? Double stuff? Are your attached inserts just better? Any tips? I really loved...

Currently over here sleep-deprived and questioning every parenting decision I've made... Send help!

@pickledcarrots We had a similar experience and timeline with one of our twins. We were cosleeping with her on the floormat and then she just started rolling all over, being unable or uninterested in going back down with milk. My parenting style is do what’s easy until it’s no longer easy and...

JuSt yOu WaIt TiL tHe BaBy CoMeS..

@lilithdom Yes! Yes! Yes! Everyone's experience is their own. Maybe instead of horror stories, people should offer to bring coffee or meals to new moms. It's a lot more helpful. Even before I got pregnant, people would see my relationship with DH and say "you only like each other because you...

Why do YOU use cloth diapers?

@ilovegod123 Yeah, we have some liners but they have about a 50% remember to use them rate, then a 50% actually working well rate so...

Why do YOU use cloth diapers?

@ilovegod123 I’m hearing you on a lot of these points. Now that we’ve added solid foods it has been a game changer. Milky poops were no big, but the spray situation is a thing. My changing table is in the bathroom but not arm’s distance so I have to put a stinky diaper out and come back to it...

    Haakaa breast pump

@enealexandru I wish people wouldn’t call it a pump. That’s sort of false advertising. For me it was just a spill catcher for the boob I wasn’t currently using. Nothing fancy. If you’re using it to “pump” it sounds like a way worse version of hand expression. Maybe some people like it for that...

    Camping with an infant?

@ecclesiastian I think you have tons of good tips but I want to take an opportunity to plug the Cali beach co pop up playpen. We use ours constantly. Good source of shade and the mesh sides help with bugs. It’s super comfy and easy to put up and take down.

Those who do Santa Lite... tell me your ways

@sandyoriane I agree with this. My husband doesn’t want to do Santa because his parents really pushed the idea and he believed in Santa for way too long. Like middle school. He remembers the heartbreak when he found out. I never thought Santa was that big of a deal either way. I don’t remember...
