We can’t bed share because my baby is formula fed? Explain

@kolibri Sort of similar to my situation! I also swore I wouldn’t co-sleep, and I didn’t need to for the first 5 weeks but then life happened. My husband works and has to have a full night’s sleep in order to drive safely to/from work and actually do his job well, so he’s only been able to take...

Safe Sleep 7 says formula fed babies shouldn’t co-sleep/bed-share. Do you?

@wethepeople Cute lol. When he was in his bassinet he would wiggle until he cried from getting smushed against the side. Now that he sleeps against me, he doesn’t wiggle anymore. I think he was definitely trying to find me before.

Safe Sleep 7 says formula fed babies shouldn’t co-sleep/bed-share. Do you?

@cursedbeast Thank you for the info and link! We have had him in love to dream swaddles since he was born and I think that’s what got him so good at sleeping those first 5 weeks. My husband helps when he can but with his medical condition, it would be impossible for him to help me at night...

We can’t bed share because my baby is formula fed? Explain

@rlp21858 My thinking exactly. For medical reasons, my husband can’t do night shifts so I have been in the nursery in a twin bed right next to the bassinet since day one. If I could have kept breast feeding, I definitely would have. Even so, any little wiggle or noise from him wakes me up, so...

We can’t bed share because my baby is formula fed? Explain

@gell I’m already a leg up being that I am completely drug and alcohol free. But I was accidentally falling asleep on the couch and rocking chair which, to me, is much more unsafe than intentional bed sharing. So unfortunately I had to pick my poison.

Safe Sleep 7 says formula fed babies shouldn’t co-sleep/bed-share. Do you?

EDIT: For those “who would never” please don’t just comment that I shouldn’t bed-share without offering an alternative solution to my problem. Please really read my experience and help me. Don’t you think if I could do anything else that I would? Bed sharing was my last resort and I feel awful...

We can’t bed share because my baby is formula fed? Explain

@meansofgrace That makes sense! We attempted breast feeding for about a month so hopefully that helps him stay at that level. I’ve noticed that when he was in his bassinet, he would wiggle and migrate into the sides until he would get smushed and cry. He would do this throughout the night and...

We can’t bed share because my baby is formula fed? Explain

A few nights ago my 8 week year old and I started bedsharing because he wouldn’t sleep unless being held which means I wasn’t sleeping at all. Additional info on that down below. So it was either: accidentally fall asleep with him in my arms on the couch / rocking chair, or intentionally bed...
