    @pentie2003 Yeah sorry I misread the post. Either way, they still shouldn't be measuring him up against a child 6 months his senior. At that age, every month is so important. When you notice he's started putting on weight, soon after he'll have a growth spurt.

    @pentie2003 Being brutally honest might snap people out of it, if you're OK with causing mild offence. "Yeah, I guess when [cousin] has 6 months on him he is gonna be smaller." Edit: rewrote example sentence bc I misread the post

    @chukwuemeka But he does. Unless you can go back in time and prevent him from learning of their existence, keep comments like this to yourself. It's at best unhelpful and at worst a deliberate attempt to make another parent feel bad for giving their child food they'll eat instead of forcing them...

    @richking58 Oh that sounds awful. Recently I went to a place staffed completely by pranksters - all I wanted was a banana and corn soup but they kept giving me bread, pears, grapes, and other foods then laughing when I made a complaint! I wouldn't go back there but it's so close to my workplace...

    @jorod Oooh what did he do? We've had a conga line of useless at best to actively harmful at worst politicians in positions overseeing child provision, I wouldn't even know where to start.
