To temp orally or vaginally, that is the question... I let you decide..

So, I performed an experiment this past cycle, which I plan to continue, so look for more cycles...

I temp usin' a fever thermometer for my oral, and a basal thermometer for the vaginal, since the vaginal is what I now use for my temps... I temp both simultaneously, at the same time, to get the best comparison... I shall post both side-by-side, so you may see the difference...

You will be able to see what day I O'd (vaginally), just by the numbers, without a chart...

I have become a believer in tempin' vaginally...

Vaginal temps are on the left, oral on the right...

@analyn I'd say you O'd cd13 and that you had a temp dip around CD20. I would recommend vaginal temp, only because it seems to be more consistent for you (it was also more consistent for me).

I had several months with a temp dip but only two had BFP. Keep watching for an elevated temp towards AF time

@jkhaemba Oh, I'm on cd2 now... That was my whole cycle... On to this one!!

@analyn Haha well that answers that! I usually saw a whole degree jump when I got a bfp. It was always a "whoa, that's much higher! Ugh, am I getting sick?!"

@jkhaemba We haven't gotten a single bfp yet, so I don't know what my temp will do when it happens... Should be neat to see!!
