Hey everyone! My wife was told by her doctor this morning that her blood work showed very high hCG levels for being 6 weeks along. Does anyone have any experience with this?
@arborist I had that. They were like triple what they should have been between 4-6 weeks. A week later, was told I was having a miscarriage. A week after that, found out my baby was perfectly fine. I believe she was a twin originally, but the twin passed. My hcg levels lowered to a normal level within days of the “miscarriage.”
@arborist If the doctor is just looking at a blood test right now, it could be that your wife is farther along than she realizes, it could be multiples, or she could just naturally have a higher level of HCG than other women. Once she gets her scans done they can confirm so you know for sure.
