hCG going up while heavy bleeding?

I took a pregnancy test yesterday morning and had a very faint line, I went to get more tests and while I was there I started bleeding heavily. Took a second test and still had a faint line, called Ob and they got me to do blood test. My hCG came back at 9.3 so I really lost hope as I kept bleeding quite heavily. I took another test this morning to confirm my assumption just to find a deeper darker line on the test so I’m assuming my hCG went up?
Has this bleeding happened to anyone and went on to have a healthy pregnancy?

@logant2222 Since you are already getting betas done. I would say it should be better to follow up with betas only. 9.3 is a weak positive. And a darker line with bleeding could be of anything.
I am not trying to make you feel scared, but bleeding during pregnancy is not uncommon. However, it could also be a sign of ectopic.
Again, I am not a doctor but since you said you had a very dark positive besides the bleeding. I would call OB and follow up with betas in order to rule out ectopic.

@elsieday I’m assuming they will send me for another blood test tomorrow, and hopefully it’ll give me a definite yes or no. I agree that 9.3 is very low but my last period was on Jan 25th, which would make it very early.
I was really expecting a negative test this morning since it was so low yesterday I could only imagine it went down even more in 24hrs and that’s why I’m a little confused/slightly hopeful with it all…

@nedeio I never got back on birth control after giving birth back in May, we weren’t actively trying to but we would gladly welcome another child in our lives at any moment.
