Anyone with experience with Gentlease and Nutramigen? My son is on Gentlease and minus some thicker stool he’s been fine. He has just been very fussy lately which I think is a growth spurt, because when we initially switched to Gentlease it was a night and day difference! He did not do well on Similac total care 360 which he was on first.
Anyways… WIC will not cover gentlease. My doctors and I have asked several times for them to cover it. Since they won’t cover it, my doctor said to try Nutramigen since it is covered instead.
I obviously would rather not pay if I don’t have to, but I’m nervous to switch. I don’t want to upset him and cause issues. He doesn’t have a CMPA or anything really. Just a gassy, cranky baby this week! What are your thoughts? Anyone else on Nutramigen and NOT have an allergy?
