is there any way to block video games ( LoL, fortnight) during (online) school hours? son plays and is tardy to classes. acts violent if i try to intervene
@rainah Quick heal Total security has a parental lock feature that enables preventing use of specific apps during specific timeframes, I think you could use that. I mean implemented it on my self to stop getting distracted during classes and it works so far lol
@rainah I had issues similar to this. Our son was having anxiety and depression issues. We did everything you can think of to stop him from playing. EVERYTHING. Finally came to the realization the games were a symptom of the problem. Put him in therapy. I focus on eating and sleeping and basics. Sorry you are having to deal with this it’s hard.
@rainah Yes, there are many parental control programs such as Disney Circle and MM Guardian. We personally use Circle, Bark, and the Google Family Link. But I would honestly consult his doctor and a therapist as well, because the fact that you mentioned he gets violent with you is the biggest problem in the post, and won’t be helped by parental controls.
