8 week old only eats 2 oz.

LO is primarily nursed, but we’ve been trying to get her used to a bottle since I’ll have to go back to work eventually. Every time she’s only eaten about 2 oz. She shows no hunger cues after that. Is that a normal amount for her age? I have a chart that says 2 months should eat 4-5 ounces 6-8 times per day.

@teresa4013 My 13 week old usually eats 2oz at a time as well and eats more frequently than a lot of those charts said she would for her age. Not sure if you mean 2oz of formula or breast milk but I think those charts are usually about formula fed babies . Breast milk is digested faster resulting in more feeds . I think some babies just like to eat smaller but more frequent meals
