3 year old starting daycare who isn’t potty trained

Hi there,

I just let my nanny go and am going to enroll my daughter in daycare. The personalities are meshing and it’s stressing my young daughter out. She just turned 3 yesterday. She is familiar with the potty, but isn’t fully potty trained. She is going to be starting daycare. We tour the daycare tomorrow. Because she JUST turned 3, do you think they will deny her enrollment if she isn’t fully potty trained? It’s not pre-k, just daycare.

I have a lot of anxiety about it so I’m just trying to see if anyone knows anything about this. Thank you.

@diaglr Some daycares allow it and some don't. You'll have to talk to them.

@diaglr At mine she we would go to the 2.5 to 3yo class until she was going accident free for at least a few days in a row. No biggie.
