Can I sanitize diapers by running a cycle with bleach?

@miminonoko You really need to do a soak, a wash won’t sanitize. And you need to use cold water, because hot water will deactivate the bleach. 1/2 cup of bleach in half a bath tub full of cold water for 30 minutes. Bulking up an H. E. Washer

@klewanne Half full is generally ideal for HE washers. I’d bet your issues are coming from not doing two full wash cycles. The first should have a little detergent to get the bulk of the waste out, then more in the second to really deep clean them.

    Turning Old Fitteds into Inserts

@ntenda Honestly if you’re second guessing cutting them up, you could probably easily resell them to someone who wants to use them as is and get your money back. Either way it’s not a big deal, don’t beat yourself up over cutting them up.
