    Overfed

@vespin I think if you’re pacefeeding and she still wants 5oz then maybe she just needs that! Again, I’m not saying to not listen to her hunger cues. I’m just saying it’s possible to over feed to where they get sick. My LO would throw up when we overfed her or she’d cry because of the gas.

    Overfed

@vespin Are you pacefeeding? I saw in other comments that your baby is 6 weeks old and eating 5oz every 2 hours - that is kind of a lot. People always say you can’t overfeed, but you definitely can, especially with formula. You can’t overfeed a breastfed baby. Also when they’re that young...

4 month old only eats 2-2.5 oz at a time

@comicbookcollege Also I saw another comment about you trying to reach 24oz - don’t. Don’t ever force her to eat more than she wants, otherwise it can cause a bottle aversion. It’s just an average number - some babies eat more and some less. I drove myself crazy trying to get to that number.

4 month old only eats 2-2.5 oz at a time

@comicbookcollege When she was a newborn, she had some obvious reflux (would throw up, spit up a lot), but around 2mo, she stopped. But she started eating funky - stopped taking the bottle back after burps. Randomly choking here and there, as if something was coming back up her throat. Wasn’t...

    8.5 week old eating less

@penguinpie I would try upsizing the nipple. If that doesn’t work, it may be a growth spurt/leap - sometimes they eat less. Or sick? But if not showing any signs might be the other things I said. Idk babies are weird. Still trying to figure mine out.

4 month old only eats 2-2.5 oz at a time

@comicbookcollege Mine was like this. We finally started reflux meds at 6mo and she started eating much better. She barely had any signs of silent reflux too.

How do I stop worrying about the “numbers?”

@hasibiz She had very little signs which is why it was difficult to figure out why she was eating the way she was. When she was newborn she would throw up but she never seemed uncomfortable. After 2months, she stopped throwing up but she would fight the bottle sometimes but that only lasted a...

How do I stop worrying about the “numbers?”

@hasibiz Honestly this was me for the longest time - and still is. My daughter is 6.5mo old now though. It’s really hard to stop worrying about the numbers. But honestly, I had to deal with days as low as 18oz - and she’s still alive and healthy. We did find she had silent reflux so we started...

At what age did you allow others to kiss your baby?

@viri Literally don’t understand the obsession with kissing babies. It’s so annoying having to keep reminding everyone not to kiss my baby either.

Is my 3 month old eating enough?

@juanquin Honestly don’t listen to “recommended” averages. Offer her the bottle once or twice, let her take what she wants and that’s it. I wish I never would’ve started worrying about how much my baby ate because now I’m dealing with constant feeding issues/anxiety. Just let her eat what she wants.
