What kind of car do you drive?

@jack_gott Yep, we were a one-car family for a while and drove my husband's Toyota Yaris sedan until our son was 19 months, when I got a 2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. We kept the sedan but only use it for driving without the kid. We have no plans to get rid of the sedan, even if we have another kid...

Why isn’t this particular risk of back to back pregnancies ever discussed?

@lakergirl Lmao what? The ARRIVE trial clearly shows risk of stillbirth increases after 39 weeks of pregnancy. If you have a 7-9 week dating ultrasound, your due date should be pretty solid.

Why isn’t this particular risk of back to back pregnancies ever discussed?

@risetotheskies My parents are religious pro-lifers and have been since before I was born. My brother was wanted, so no way were they gonna get an abortion, despite the unfortunate timing.

    OAD decision timeline

@renette I'm 36 and planning to get my tubes removed at 40 for the reduction in ovarian cancer risk. I definitely do not want a pregnancy/baby after 40. My son is 2.5 and will be 3 in the spring. We actually intentionally started trying for another in the fall, but I had a chemical pregnancy a...

Why isn’t this particular risk of back to back pregnancies ever discussed?

@risetotheskies My brother and I were ‘2 under 2’ and it fucked my mother up so badly, mentally/emotionally. My dad was a typical useless dad that you see complained about here constantly on Reddit, so he was no help. I can only wonder what my life would have been like if I’d been an only, or if...

The new Philips avent nipples are terrible

@melody5697 So I know this is an older post, but commenting in case anyone sees this from a search or something. My baby was using the level 4 of the old style. I bought the transition sippy cup with a level 5 in the new style. With the level 5, it takes him forever to finish, and he often...

I am team crib til college. Change my mind

@julia736 That's wonderful! Some of the responses here are wild, lol. I'm not interested in infantilizing my son well into his preschool years. Let them gain some age-appropriate independence.... while at the same time, saving my back the work of picking up/putting down into a crib multiple...

I am team crib til college. Change my mind

@seekingservant I'm also team early transition. Better to do it when they're young enough not to fight you on it. We transitioned my son from his pack n play to a toddler bed the night he turned 16 months. He's now 18 months and it's been pretty smooth! We're lucky in that he doesn't really get...

I need a safe place to vent regarding the decision to be OAD and my Dr not supporting me fully

@ryandog Horrific. I’m so very sorry, for both your loss and the OB’s insensitivity.

Hand Foot Mouth Disease Timeline HFMD 3 and 1 year old

@shstlws01 My son is currently working his way through HFM. He’s 16m. I thought he felt a little warm on Thursday night the 6th, and he had a bump on his lip, but I thought it could be a mosquito bite because he is so susceptible to them. I didn’t get him ready for daycare on Friday so I didn’t...
