Got an 'answer' for my "next level" velcro baby. I was too stressed while pregnant.

@nazpastor That notion is ridiculous. I had hyperemisis gravidarum along with a host of other medical issues and for a solid part of my pregnancy, basically wanted to die I felt so ill. Then I lost a family member I was close with, two weeks after getting a brand new border collie puppy (so...

When did you get excited “again”?

@galdrun Once we had the baby shower picked the nursery theme and started doing the nursery I got a bit more excited but I really never got super excited until she came if I’m being honest. I had a rough pregnancy health wise though which might have contributed to the lack of enthusiasm.

What do you class as sleeping through the night?

@instrument150 Not sure, to be honest I didn’t look too closely at the study design, just pulled it as an example of the parameters that researchers tend to use when defining ‘sleeping through the night’ in infant sleep research. Here’s another, there are lots I could have pulled!

What do you class as sleeping through the night?

@sass Most research defines sleeping through the night as 6-8 hour uninterrupted stretch for infants. So, if going by the literature, depending on when your friend put their baby down and when their baby did the night feeds, your friend could be correct in their statement.

Dear Everyone who said this would suck…

@revstockton HG gals unite! I am pretty sure I had 6 weeks of postpartum euphoria lol. They pulled her out and I suddenly stopped feeling nauseous like someone flipped a light switch and it was a miracle (I also had BP issues and an ulcer and it all just kinda went away!). I think every mom’s...
