    @kevinareni Thank you for the mention of your partner! I'm new to this sub, and one of the main reasons I want to formula feed is because I want my husband to play an equal role in feeding our child, both to make things easier on me and for the bonding time!

    @winddancersong FWIW, I didn't want to breastfeed and never even tried. Not wanting to breastfeed or pump is a legitimate reason to not do either.     Hi!!

    @joyathome I did not always plan to be OAD; my husband and I came to the decision about a year before we started trying for our only. I found the books One and Only by Lauren Sandler and the Case for the Only Child to be helpful when I was initially considering it and would recommend them!
