    @sensistar My pair are nearly 5. It has consistently got more fun and nicer to be a parent with every passing year. Twins are just the best!

    @luris Great approach, and it has lots of backup in research to show you make fewer mistakes when you do repetitive things this way. We used to do this when our twins had more needs.

    @trusaders It can. And before you ask, no that doesn’t mean my wife has to widest vagina known to man, it’s when they are very prem and they scoop them out together during a c-section.

    @donw1245 So they were momo, so definitely “identical”. And born at the same moment. So definitely “real” twins, but the funny thing is that they really don’t look that much alike. There is so much more than genetics than defines “identical”.

    @trusaders My two would qualify. They had a simultaneous birth. That really wrecks people’s brains when they asked how far apart the twins were born.

    @jul1a Well take a look at them - you can pick up off Facebook Marketplace very cheaply and then replace the mattress at low cost.

    @jul1a Can you get one of those cribs where one side comes down, so many is safe in their crib but you can have your hand on them. They’re called “Next to Me” or maybe Next2Me here in the UK. Other similar things available.

    TTTS stage 2

    @ntl We had a very rough case of TTTS. An 11 out of ten, as our MFM described it. The surgery wasn’t a total success, and we did have to deliver super early at 27 weeks. Anyway, the twins are sitting beside me now 5 years later and eating their breakfast to get ready for the school day ahead...

    @kaferty I’d echo what others are saying. Pre-term babies love a hand on them, warm and still. Movement is overstimulation and they let you know they don’t like it. But that said, if you do decide to try it you can be sure the baby will let you know if it’s not to their liking. You will get...
