    @atlkate Honestly seems like the perk is listed in name only. If it was a real perk, it’d be protocol from the top to not schedule on Friday afternoons at all. I’ve had jobs that list all of those perks but some weren’t taken advantage of so if you did use it, you looked lazy or not like a team...

    @debbiedee That’s what I’m planning to do. Mine is 6 so she’ll have the big bed and I’ll put the twin bed in the living room behind my couch.

    @risetotheskies Totally. I’m in several mom groups and sad when the women are drowning and need help or they’re single and everything is a bigger struggle since they have 3-5 kids. I can’t imagine.

    @risetotheskies To most people as worth the challenge and stress because it’s the mom taking on that stress. It was mostly man, taking on the burden of all of that seem to be very different.

    @mybridges I ask the same thing I think it’s to continue the illusion of big families being great and keep the birth rate high

    Is an inconsistent father worth being in a kids life?

    @nothingtoknow Not in my opinion. The benefit of being a single mom to me is that I know the base line of our lifestyle bc I know what I will provide and do. I see everything else as extra.
