Baby to her own room at 10 weeks?

@jul1a We moved our preemie at 12 weeks or so. He slept much better, so did we. Also, since he did wake up 2 times at least for food he was never there for longer than 3/4 hours, and we just checked on him before we driften off as well.

What does sleep through the night mean and when?

@miltonjs My kid sleeps from 7/7.30 to 6am when he is ready to start the day. Unless he is sick or has a dirty diaper, of course. That is my definition of sleeping through the night: neither one of us wakes up until morning. He didn't do that until... 10 month I think.

    Visitors immediately post c-section

@cbmiller No, it's not. I had visitors over about 14h after birth via c section, and I was wearing a shirt and adult diaper. Nothing else. I gave no shits because my dad has always been my biggest supporter and my MIL had gone through it before. But if I hadn't trusted them completey, hadn't...

35 weeks premie: currently 9 weeks but 4 weeks adjusted… need help please!

@bacondoughtnuts My son was born 35+4. We had a lot of gas, reflux, very many poops when I still managed to combo feed (breastmilk really did lead to so many poops). I call a full diaper a poop. Another time they just weren't done yet, or had in fact done a wet fart. My bub slept 3h stretches...

    Feeding my baby

@magpie0603 My nurses actuay all did this the first three days I was allowed to breastfeed! They had me get comfy, then instal him comfortably, then they would help shift baby around to a good eating position if necessary, grab my boob and pop it in there. One of the trainee nurses grabbed it...

Big brother going to prek soon! How can I best protect baby?!

@erin30ga I still haven't gotten over all of my fears, I don't think I ever truly will. But I've accepted that and just try to be reasonable in controling them.

Big brother going to prek soon! How can I best protect baby?!

@erin30ga My son actually had an NG tube for 2 weeks while in NICU. Little bugger decided he was done with it and yanked it out while the nurses were dealing with another little patient. He came home the day after because he ate enough to gain weight. So even if he would need one, it isn't...

Big brother going to prek soon! How can I best protect baby?!

@erin30ga Keep up with vaccinations. You can totally do washing hands, and keeping baby away from people you know are sick. Masking when sick is also possible. But mostly: be aware they WILL get sick. I got super unlucky in that respect. Baby and I had to go get him checked out for weight. It...
