    I just feel sick

@joebo I’m so jealous you have an out. My husband and I are discussing leaving. We’ve been discussing it since 2016, but it’s become a much more legit convo now.

1 month, wishing you could go back and not have a baby, postpartum thought or worse?

@puckharist Or just her obgyn. They should do a screening at her 6-week postpartum visit anyway.

Looking for new laundry detergent for sensitive skin and allergies?

@ellenp Haven’t used it yet (currently pregnant), but we put Babyganics on our registry, and it says it’s made without 1,4 dioxane. ETA: Though I’m now seeing EWG gives it an F rating… so maybe not a great choice?

She doesn’t fit newborn or 0-3 anymore

@psyman It’s so wild. I look at the 12-month clothes we have and can’t believe how huge they are and that she’ll hypothetically be starting to fit in them in the next ~6 months.

She doesn’t fit newborn or 0-3 anymore

@psyman My baby was a 4.5-pound 33-weeker and is now a 13-pound five-month-old too! We moved to 3-6 clothes recently and I had the same emotions. So happy she’s growing and so sad she’s not a tiny little babe anymore. I’m leaning in to excitement over all the cute new outfits we get to put her...

Any ballpark estimates on 8 week NICU bills?

@joeestacy Our baby was born at 33 weeks. Stayed 3.5 weeks in the NICU (uncomplicated stay, thankfully). Her bills are about $140K before insurance. Good luck, friend. We owe $17,500, and it suuuucks. You should max out at your OOPM, like we did.

Can I/should I ask NICU not to give my baby formula if we have enough EBM?

@imchad It’s my understanding that most preemies need fortification. However, I believe that if you’re breastfeeding/pumping, that’s usually breast milk with formula mixed into it. That’s what they did for my girl at least, and she went home still getting 3 fortified feeds a day (again, my...

Has anyone else already written their birth plan?

@pariaman Why do you want to see the placenta before disposal? Just curiosity or peace of mind or…?

    Bleeding after s*x

@rachelfontenot2008 Most likely it’s fine since it’s just a tiny bit. Spotting like that can be normal. But it’s always good to let your doctor know. Definitely go into the hospital if you have pain, cramping, or enough bleeding to need to use a pad.

Not to be a hater but

@watchdogofgod I do not understand how it’s legal for them to force you to use PTO and FMLA concurrently. If that was my company, I’d go on an extravagant vacation while pregnant to use up all my PTO, and then just take FMLA like normal after birth. If you take them at the same time, it’s...

Our wedding is on 9/22/22, but I’m struggling on waiting till then to try

@camfree Four months isn’t going to make a difference in your fertility. I’d for sure wait so you can have your cake and eat it too. Also, 32 isn’t very old! A healthy 32 y/o without fertility issues could easily have four or more kids before menopause hit.

Judge my Prenatal Viamin Regime! or Steal some ideas!

@jasonvr I take the MyKind Organics prenatal, which has basically everything I need in it except DHA. I started taking Nordic Naturals algae oil DHA supplement, but it was expensive, so I decided to hold off on that until I’m pregnant. I tend to have low iron and vitamin D, but I had my levels...
