Pediatrician says I’m nursing my 4 week old too often - not sure what to do

@christopher000 I’m no doctor, but I’ve literally never heard of a baby eating “too often.”

    Exclusively breastfeeding vs Pumping?

@robinrocks Pumping is breastfeeding. If you feed your baby pumped milk and nothing else, she is exclusively breast fed.

Cybex Priam, Gazelle and 2 under 2

@flandaddy Same here in the US. Wouldn’t be surprised if the Gazelle 2 launches next week for you guys, too!

Cybex Priam, Gazelle and 2 under 2

@flandaddy Cybex parts general aren’t cross–compatible between models, so only Gazelle parts (seat, bassinet) work on the Gazelle, etc. All Cybex car seats work with all their car seat compatible strollers though, so you should have no problem using the one you already have. If you’re...

Suggestions for strollers for tall parents!

@james238 Based on my research, the Vista is about as tall as they get.

Suggestions for strollers for tall parents!

@jarno My husband is 6’9”. Look for strollers where the handlebar is adjustable and telescoping, not ones where the adjustment is achieved by pivoting the handle up and down. The pivoting adjustment means that a tall user must stand closer to the stroller (due to pivoting the handle up rather...

Is there a reason I should consider an infant seat and not just going straight to the convertible?

@hfbroady Talk about the liability created by feigning to do an inspection, when nurses are by no means qualified in car seat safety in any way?

Is there a reason I should consider an infant seat and not just going straight to the convertible?

@washedbyblood87 Who did the “inspection” that you’re referring to? Nurses aren’t car seat safety experts. Unless they were at your hospital? Our hospital ensured we had a car seat, but they certainly didn’t do any true “inspection.” I have serious doubt that any hospital would willingly take...

    Vista, Should I Keep It?

@grace_given17 I would keep it. FWIW, we have a stroller incredibly similar to the Vista in weight and features (Cybex Gazelle) and currently only have one child. It is an excellent stroller for one baby. Hopefully it will be excellent for two in the future.

Is there a reason I should consider an infant seat and not just going straight to the convertible?

@washedbyblood87 Sorry if it came off as rude. Not my intention at all. That’s just a really, really dumb policy for your hospital to have, and annoying that parents who deliver at your hospital potentially have to buy an infant seat they don’t want or need as a result.

Is there a reason I should consider an infant seat and not just going straight to the convertible?

@washedbyblood87 What? This is absurd. Many, many convertibles are designed for use with newborns. They have special inserts and everything.

Help me decide between the Bugaboo Butterfly and Uppababy Minu!

@beemac Literally was just researching this yesterday. The Stroller Workshop reviewed both of these as being excellent travel strollers; however, they noted that the UppaBaby was more durable / sturdy overall and had better handling (due to its larger wheels), making it more appropriate if you...

    New Nuna Aire RX scandal

@iris15 I always thought it was super dishonest of them to even list the weight of the thing without the canopy and inserts. I guess it’s eventually used without the insert, so maybe that’s okay, but no one is using this thing without the canopy. Come on.
