@mynameishephzibah Kid currently has HFM after having the flu last month. He can’t sleep because he’s so miserable. My only saving grace is daycare will still let him on as long as he doesn’t have a fever.
@porven I don’t necessarily need the adult interaction, but I do need the stimulation from working, if that makes sense. I WFH so I get the stimulation without the personal interaction 😁
@987abc Central Ohio, $280/week. School setting, most meals included, full time.
Our babysitters are family members. Where we used to live we paid $20/hour for a sitter.
@magdalenab My son will be two in June and he just started school. He was in an in-home daycare for a year. We switched because we moved across the country, or else we would have waited until he was 3. Luckily he is doing well in the new environment.
@2ndlight I always thought if I had kids I’d have two, however, between my age and my birth experience I really don’t think I can do it again.
Sidebar: the illnesses alone make it difficult enough to have more than one!
@slyanimal My son is not quite two and recognizes letters and some numbers. I have no idea if he’s “where he’s supposed to be” in terms of development, but to me it’s impressive!
@abraham7777 Yes and no. They’re not IBLP like the Duggars, but they’re similarly cultish. She’s a conspiracy theorist with a pregnancy fetish. I feel so sad for the kids.
