    F**k viruses

@mynameishephzibah Kid currently has HFM after having the flu last month. He can’t sleep because he’s so miserable. My only saving grace is daycare will still let him on as long as he doesn’t have a fever.

Anyone else not “crave adult interaction”?

@porven I don’t necessarily need the adult interaction, but I do need the stimulation from working, if that makes sense. I WFH so I get the stimulation without the personal interaction 😁

How much are y'all paying for babysitters/daycare per week ?

@987abc Central Ohio, $280/week. School setting, most meals included, full time. Our babysitters are family members. Where we used to live we paid $20/hour for a sitter.

When did you send your only to preschool?

@magdalenab My son will be two in June and he just started school. He was in an in-home daycare for a year. We switched because we moved across the country, or else we would have waited until he was 3. Luckily he is doing well in the new environment.

I don’t get why people want more than one

@2ndlight I always thought if I had kids I’d have two, however, between my age and my birth experience I really don’t think I can do it again. Sidebar: the illnesses alone make it difficult enough to have more than one!

Can a 2yr old recognize letters?

@slyanimal My son is not quite two and recognizes letters and some numbers. I have no idea if he’s “where he’s supposed to be” in terms of development, but to me it’s impressive!

Genuinely curious - why do people choose to keep having kids despite health risks?

@abraham7777 Yes and no. They’re not IBLP like the Duggars, but they’re similarly cultish. She’s a conspiracy theorist with a pregnancy fetish. I feel so sad for the kids.

@abraham7777 Beyond religious. Check out r/FundieSnarkUncensored for the TLDR on them.
