@paker You've been given lots of advice, but as I've thought on this today, I'm coming back for a couple more things I haven't seen addressed.
5 minute transition warnings. Love the transition warning. 5 minutes when you're that age is an eternity. Shorten it to 2 or 3 minutes and use a timer...
@paker I gave my kid one vitamin once in the evening and he was running laps around the living room. Turns out, vitamins help produce energy.
Switching to morning isn’t going to magically solve your problem, but every little bit helps.

And, if it is a delay tactic (which it definitely is) you've removed that option. You've already given him a snack. So, snack, brush, "I need food", "nope, you just ate", redirect towards the goal.
